The HBSC-Italy 2022 - Health Behavior in School-aged Children Surveillance: the description of the sample and the family context among adolescents aged 11, 13, 15 and 17 (Supplemento 1 al n. 12, volume 36, 2023 del Notiziario dell'ISS)

In 2022 a survey has been conducted throughout all Italian Regions on students (11, 13, 15 and 17 year-old) in the framework of the international Health Behaviour in School-aged Children study. Target classes have been the first and third grade of middle school and the second and fourth grade of high school. To all subjects attending the sampled classes a questionnaire has been administered to collect information on their health behavior (dietary habits, physical activity, risk behavior, well-being), their relationship with the school, parents and peers as well as general information concerning their health and social background. In total, 6,388 classes and 89,321 adolescents were involved.
